Stretch rebound: TPE material is more, its material can be stretched to more than 1000% with different hardness, and silica gel is about 300%-500%.
The cost is high and low: the silicone material is synthetic rubber, which is made up of various materials, and the production process is complicated. The silicone product manufacturers can choose various methods for production and processing, and different materials have different raw material cost prices. Therefore, the raw materials for the above are expensive but the processing cost is high.

TPE is a thermoplastic material, but it has a high amount of glue and can be recycled. Excellent processing performance, no need to vulcanize, can be recycled to reduce cost, can be double injection molding, coated with PP, PE, PC, PS, ABS and other base materials, or can be molded separately.

Therefore, in combination with the above comparison, both TPE and silicone rubber materials are easy to use, and TPE is an emerging material, which can help more in different fields. Silicone materials can always do many products, but they also do TPE or other materials just fill the gap.
